An exhibition about the fragile pulse between life and loss

“What happens when your body no longer belongs to you? When your identity is stripped away? When loss and grief become the passage to a new understanding of life and death?”

In Sudden Heart Death — Muerte Súbita, art becomes a vessel for the ungraspable — a collective meditation on mortality, transformation, and the fleeting moments that define our humanity.

This multidisciplinary exhibition brings together painting, video art, performance, poetry, music, and storytelling to explore the fragile boundary between existence and disappearance. The participating artists offer personal testimonies of rupture and renewal, capturing the instant when life falters — and something new, uncertain, begins to pulse.
Each work in Muerte Súbita stands as a testament: to pain and tenderness, to loss and revelation, to the quiet spaces where the heart stops — not only within the body, but within the narratives we construct about who we are. The exhibition invites viewers to linger in that in-between, where grief becomes an act of creation and impermanence becomes a source of truth.
Muerte Súbita is not an ending, but a transformation — a journey toward the uncertain rhythm that follows silence. It asks how art can reanimate what has been lost, how fragments of identity, memory, and emotion can be woven into a trembling new understanding of what it means to be alive.
